Conquering a fear is:

AMAZING.
LIBERATING.
GLORIOUS.
And, it is a sleepless night, thinking of possibility and grinning from ear to ear with the sheer joy of it all.

I stepped out of my comfort zone last night.  The comfort zone of concealing my true feelings and passions deep down inside of myself.  The comfort zone of not revealing too much for fear of rejection.  The comfort zone of shame and agony arising from not being true to my heart.  Nice comfort zone.  Not so comfortable after all, really.

And I stepped out of it and into the light and I spoke my heart and I revealed my passions and I was so pleasantly surprised that I am still sort of stunned by it all.

I am going to focus my career on becoming a working, active, productive, exposed artist.  This is my passion and my dream and at 34 years old I am following my heart and I am going to work toward becoming a full time artist.  I can do this, I am absolutely sure of it.  And it is this certainty that gave me the courage to speak my heart and tell my family my dream and ask for their support and to not back down for fear of rejection.  I did it.  They accepted it without a blink.  With full love and amazing conviction that they know I CAN DO IT TOO.  Wow.

I feel like I am floating.

I know there is work that needs to be done and research that must occur and blood sweat tears that will be shed, but I am so prepared and willing to go there and do this, because this is the right path.  This is the path that fulfills my spirit and will show my children that following your passion is the right thing to do.  It means hard work: nothing comes at us without our energy guiding it.  But if we are willing to work hard, we will triumph over all and come out on top.

Today.  Is the very best day.  And I am winning.

Glorious today, I heart today.
