Magical Mundane Moment: The Girl

"Oh thank you God; thank you Heaven!", she swooned upon seeing the blanket of fresh snow in the morning.  
"They powered this up you know," she said to me firmly, in her six-year-old serious way, "Santa knows the angels."

**This moment occurred yesterday when I woke my daughter up for school.  Her sweet and serious words of faith and conviction about how the world works melted my heart into a pool of magic.  I always want to remember this moment in time, when my baby was still in the nest.
