DAY 15-19 FEB PHOTO-A-DAY

Okay, so I have around three posts sitting in my text edit file waiting to be posted, but this lag on Feb photo-A-day has really got me anxious, so I am going to delay the other posts until I all caught up.  Because, even though Feb has an extra day this year, IT IS ALMOST OVER!  And I really want to do March's challenge so I neeeed to get my butt in gear and share, share, share.   Remember, check out the site where I am being inspired for this challenge.  The lady who created it: Fat Mum Slim
is really lovely.

Here goes.
DAY 15: PHONE
A funky shot of an "old-school" phone.  This receiver is attached to a twisty cord and it hangs on the wall.  That's right: it's one of those.  I do not own a cellular device, so this sweet phone saves me when the power gets knocked out.  Simple & sweet.

DAY 16: SOMETHING NEW
This is our new pup.  She doesn't live with us yet, but we go weekly to visit her so she can get to know us.  She had her first nap on my lap last Sunday and stole my heart.

 DAY 17: DRINK
Okay folks.  I have to say I tried to not post a photo of an alcoholic drink, but alas!  I am a CANADIAN GIRL, and so beer it is!  Last summer I officially became a self-proclaimed beer snob.  I will not drink beer from those big beer companies anymore.  Nope.  It's micro-brew for me OR water.  I implore you to try a micro-brew and tell me it's not worth it.  This one is an IPA from Vancouver Island Brewery and I love it.  I also love the label, and all the labels of micro-brew beers.  They are artsy & funky.  I feel so grown up when I drink them.

DAY 18: SOMETHING I HATE TO DO
I HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE...to do domestic paperwork.  You know, the filing and sorting of stuff at home.  When I am at work, I am a Queen at filing, organizing, finishing, & so on.  But at home?  Blech.  It sucks, and that is all I want to say about it, because I refuse to devote anymore energy to it.

DAY 19: HANDWRITING

This is a shot of some script work I did.  I love doing script painting, and I adore handwriting.  Not enough people know the art of penmanship anymore.  When my son went through Elementary school he was not taught to handwrite.  This will be something I teach my daughter to do.  It is a beautiful thing.

  1. So glad to read that you're planning on doing the challenge in March! I think I will, too.
