Ugh. Not very pleasurable.
My J-O-B is to be held accountable for this state of affairs, for sure. Where I work, negative energy abounds. It's a force field that can barely be penetrated and I feel stuck there...for right now.
I HAVE made strides in reducing the amount of time I spend there, but they still suck the life force from our bodies and souls regardless, it would seem.
I KNOW!!! SO DRAMATIC. Yuck. I make myself sick thinking about how lowdown I am over this place.
Anyway, it has a lot do to with the Anxiety Disorder I developed due to exactly the same environment LAST YEAR...almost exactly to the day. Yep. I lost my mind last April working in this same place and I left for four months. Since returning, I have reduced my hours, responsibilities and stepped down from the Manager position I previously held.
BUT STILL.
The company, the people, the mindset. All of it is rife with strife.
And I am trying to figure out a way to dig myself out completely without sacrificing the financial contribution I make to my household income. Art is one way, but until that becomes consistently profitable, I need a back up plan.
So that's a snippet of the journey I have been on since last April.
You will hear more about this as the journey continues, but for today I want to share some little slices of loveliness that I encountered last weekend on an outing with my sweet family.
Happy Saturday!
