Yesterday, my heart endured the full-scale panorama of emotion.
From crazy grumpy, to belligerent, to exhaustion, to release, to sadness, to overjoyed, to full-on goofy, to peaceful, and to sleep.
I want to write so much about why this was the case, but I am still processing much of it and feel I need to think before I document it. For now, let's just say this:
- Lack of sleep for more than three days leads to crazy-grumpy and belligerence
- Belligerence leads to exhaustion
- Exhaustion leads to release
- Losing a pet leads to very much sadness
- Celebrating a friend's birthday with a group of besties from WAAAAYYY back leads to over-joyous-ness
- See above to learn what leads to full-on goofy
- Returning home after laughing so hard my cheek bones hurt leads to peacefulness, and peacefulness leads to sleep.
Today, I want to honour a member of my family who has left us for her own peace. Rest well sweet Charlie cat. We love you and you will NEVER be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear about Charlie. Losing a pet can be so, so tough. Thinking about you.
